CONTROLLED ENGINEERING PILOT

AI Factory is an evolving production system for turning an agreed requirement into a result that can be checked and accepted.

The execution contract

Before execution, define the task, allowed changes, access, cost limits, time boundaries and acceptance criteria. This gives both the executor and reviewer an explicit reference.

Evidence before acceptance

  1. Requirement: clarify the expected outcome.
  2. Contract: agree scope, authority and limits.
  3. Execution: work within those limits.
  4. Evidence: record artifacts and verification results.
  5. Independent QA: evaluate the evidence separately.
  6. Acceptance: retain the human decision.

The first practical test

Current project work provides a pilot context for applying the method to real engineering tasks. The goal is a reusable process, with quality and the complete cost of an accepted task made visible.

The economic question

Measure execution cost together with retries, review and human participation. Savings and speed improvements must be demonstrated against a comparable baseline; they are not assumed from using agents.
